Good news! Our recent integration of Sentinel-3 mission made it possible to combine Sentinel-2 with a bit less detailed but higher frequency data.
We like satellite images! We think they are really stunning and give all of us better perspective on how our big blue planet looks like. So far, you could already enjoy the amazing impressions offered through our services. But, by adding a new functionality to Sentinel Playground, the variety of the generated images practically takes us through a virtual art gallery.
We are honored to have been part of the ESA-developed Sentinel-2B satellite launch in the night from March 6 to March 7. Being present at the launch gave us insights at the incredible science, engineering, applications and businesses behind Copernicus, Europe’s most ambitious Earth observation programme ever, and an opportunity to meet the experts at European Space Operations Centre who are making it happen.
With an optimisation of the infrastructure in February we shortened the response time of Sentinel Hub services for 0.5 - 1 second. The optimisation was done just in time before a huge wave of requests from Estonia triggered by the Estonian Maritime Administration Veeteede Amet’s Facebook post.
After successful integration of USGS Landsat satellites' data into Sentinel Hub with the satellite imagery from Landsat 5, Landsat 7 and Landsat 8 for Europe, you can now access also the high-quality data from Landsat 8 worldwide.
Sinergise and GeoVille started H2020 project "Earth Observation Value Adding Services".
We are excited to announce a new reseller partnership with the Wroclaw Institute of Applied Spatial Information and Artificial Intelligence (WIZIPISI). As part of this alliance, WIZIPISI, a company providing products, services and solutions based on cutting-edge scientific and technological achievements, will offer Sentinel Hub services in Poland.
Sinergise is proud to be invited to Sentinel2Go event, demonstrating its Sentinel Hub solution to a group of over 200 participants from media and the industry. We will be cheering for successful launch of Sentinel-2B, which will double the amount of data served through our system.
Director General of the European Space Agency (ESA) Johann-Dietrich Wörner visited Slovenia to enhance the possibilities of ESA’s help to Slovenian industry and academia develop. During his stay, he visited Sinergise, the winner of ESA Copernicus Masters 2016 challenge.
Satellite imagery is revolutionising agriculture and can help European farmers and public authorities take land monitoring to a new level. While Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) requires member states to perform diligent checks of subsidised agricultural parcels, satellite imagery can help perform or even automate some of the tasks, thus lowering the cost of the inspection process.
